PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Conservation and transformation of an early 20th century industrial building to develop a public marketplace including stores and shops, cinemas, food court as well as high-end office space. The heritage value of old stone structures in a designated heritage site at the rear of the building was the starting point for the decision to preserve this industrial space and to integrate all existing structures in the whole project. With the aim of respecting the designated heritage status of neighboring and to ensure continuity in the urban development of the sector along this important commercial artery, the preservation of two historic houses justified the transformation of this long industrial building to create the Faubourg market, which has known since it's opening a phenomenal success.
